About CFF

How long has CFF Construction been in business?

CFF Construction has been serving the commercial construction industry for over 25 years, established in 2000. From the beginning, we've maintained the same commitment to precision, accountability, and quality that has made us a trusted partner for federal, state, and commercial clients across the Northeast.

Is CFF Construction a veteran-owned business?

Yes. CFF Construction is a certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). Our founder Fernando brought military discipline, leadership, and a zero-tolerance approach to shortcuts into the construction industry — values that drive every project we take on.

What areas does CFF Construction serve?

Based in Mineola, NY, we serve the greater New York metropolitan area including all five boroughs of NYC, Long Island (Nassau & Suffolk Counties), the Hudson Valley, Upstate New York, Northern New Jersey, and Connecticut. We also work on federal facilities and SUNY/CUNY campuses throughout the region.

What types of clients does CFF typically work with?

We primarily serve commercial, institutional, and government clients. Our portfolio includes federal research laboratories, VA hospitals, state universities (SUNY/CUNY), municipal buildings, commercial office spaces, and industrial facilities. We're experienced with both public and private sector projects of all scales.

Our Services

What services does CFF Construction offer?

CFF specializes in four core disciplines: commercial roofing (TPO, EPDM, modified bitumen, metal), general construction (ground-up builds, renovations, tenant improvements), masonry & stonework (brick, block, stone, facade restoration), and waterproofing systems (below-grade, above-grade, liquid-applied, caulking & sealants).

What types of roofing systems does CFF install?

We install and maintain all major commercial roofing systems including TPO single-ply membranes, EPDM synthetic rubber, modified bitumen multi-layer systems, and standing seam & corrugated metal roofing. We handle everything from new installations and complete tear-offs to repairs and preventive maintenance programs.

Does CFF handle large-scale construction projects?

Absolutely. CFF manages full-scope commercial construction projects from foundation to finish, including ground-up builds, complex renovations, and tenant fit-outs. We provide comprehensive project management, site coordination, scheduling, and quality oversight throughout every phase of the build.

What waterproofing solutions does CFF provide?

Our waterproofing division handles below-grade foundation systems, above-grade building envelope protection, liquid-applied membranes, caulking & sealant applications, and plaza deck & parking structure waterproofing. We protect commercial properties from moisture intrusion and long-term structural damage.

Working With Us

How does CFF's project process work?

We follow a proven four-step process: (1) Assessment & scope development with an on-site visit, (2) Strategic crew assembly with vetted subcontractors, (3) Managed execution with active owner oversight and quality checks, and (4) Final inspection & handoff that goes beyond code compliance to meet our higher standards.

How do I get a free estimate?

Contact us through our website or give us a call. We'll schedule an on-site assessment to understand your project requirements, document existing conditions, and develop a detailed scope. You'll receive a transparent, honest estimate with no hidden costs or surprise change orders.

Does CFF use subcontractors?

Yes. CFF operates through a proven subcontracting model. We assemble specialized crews of vetted subcontractors who have proven themselves on past CFF projects. Fernando and the CFF management team maintain active oversight throughout — coordinating schedules, conducting quality checks, and solving problems in real time.

What should I expect regarding project timelines?

Every project gets a detailed schedule during the planning phase. We're committed to on-time delivery and maintain transparent communication throughout. You'll receive regular updates, and if any issues arise, you'll hear about them immediately along with the solution — no surprises.
